Mamma Mia Here We Go Again

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is an American film that was released in July 2018. Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is a jukebox musical romantic comedy pic written and directed by Ol Parker, from a story by Parker, Catherine Johnson, and Richard Curtis. It is a follow-up to the 2008 film Mamma Mia!, which in turn is based on the Westward Finish/Broadway musical of the same name using the music of ABBA. The movie features an ensemble cast, including Dominic Cooper, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Jeremy Irvine, Josh Dylan, Hugh Skinner, Lily James, Jessica Keenan Wynn, Alexa Davies, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Andy García, Meryl Streep, and Cher. Synopsis

Five years subsequently the events of the first film, Sophie Sheridan is preparing for the grand reopening of her female parent's hotel, after her mother Donna passed away a year prior. She is upset because two of her fathers, Harry and Bill, are unable to brand it to the reopening and she is having trouble in her marriage to Heaven, who is in New York, over her memorializing her mother'due south life simply forgetting most her own.

Xx-v years before, a young Donna has simply graduated and getting ready to travel the world. While in Paris, she meets Harry, who is somewhen able to charm her into taking his virginity. She later misses her boat to Kalokairi, but is offered a ride by Bill, and along the way, they are able to help a stranded fisherman make it in time to stop the dear of his life from marrying some other. Unbeknownst to Donna, Harry has followed her to Hellenic republic, but arrived too belatedly, and sadly watches the gunkhole sailing off in the distance.

In the present, Tanya and Rosie arrive to support Sophie with the reopening and information technology'southward revealed that Rosie and Nib take split upward because of his wandering centre. A devastated Donna tells Sam to go out the island, which he does. In the present, Sam tells Sophie this story to make her come across that she could never let her mother downward. Meanwhile, Harry leaves his business organisation deal in Tokyo to support Sophie, Bill gets the same thought and uses his twin brother as a stand-in to receive the award he was supposed to get. Sophie'due south estranged grandmother, and Donna's mother Ruby, arrives despite Sophie deciding not to invite her. She reveals that Sky tracked her down in New York and she wants to build a existent relationship with Sophie. Sophie then performs a song with Tanya and Rosie in honor of her female parent, with her grandmother tearfully telling her afterwards how proud she is of her. It is then revealed that the manager of the hotel, Fernando, is Ruby'south ex-lover, and the two are joyously reunited.

The ceremony takes place with Donna'south spirit watching over her daughter with pride.
